The new Coal Mine has three audience bathrooms, accessible from the lobby.

BAR

The Coal Mine lobby has a modest bar that sells a limited selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, mixed drinks, coffee, tea and soda. Credit and debit cards accepted. Please note, as of Sep 2023 the Coal Mine bar will no longer accept cash.

ACCESSIBILITY

The theatre and lobby are located in a sub-basement — accessing it requires descending a flight of twelve stairs. We understand that this barrier may cause concern for our patrons with limited mobility, and apologize for the current lack of accessibility. It will be a priority to make our space fully accessible in the future, but alas because of the way the building is designed it was not  financially possible for us to do so at present. 

RENTAL POLICY

The Coal Mine does not currently rent out its theatre space for outside bookings of any kind.
