To add Passholder Tickets to your basket through the Online Box Office, you must be signed into a customer account that has a Season Pass attached to it, or you must have a Season Pass in your basket.

Passholder Tickets may be booked at the time of purchase for your Season Pass, or they may be booked later by signing into your customer account with a Season Pass attached to it.

Passholder Tickets are $0 at checkout for customers with Season Passes. No additional fees.

General Admission Tickets vary in price depending on what week of a production’s run they are in.

Only available for purchase in-person, on a first-come-first-serve basis, on the day of the performance. Rush tickets go on sale each day when the box office opens, 45 minutes prior to show time.

Please note, The Coal Mine Theatre cannot ever guarantee the availability of Rush Tickets to any performance. However, we do usually hold back a couple of seats per performance for ticketing-safety purposes and no-shows/day-of cancellations are a very common occurrence. Demand for Rush Tickets always increases closer to the end of a run, so we always recommend trying for Rush Tickets early.

The Coal Mine offers a limited amount of Artsworker Tickets per performance. Only available for purchase through the Online Box Office.

To obtain an Arts Worker Ticket, add a regular priced General Admission ticket to your basket, and then apply the Season 9 Promo Code MONSTERS upon checkout.

Please note, if the performance is already maxed-out for Arts Worker Tickets, you will not be able to apply the promo code.

The Coal Mine is pleased to offer $25 tickets for advance purchase to younger theatre goers who may not have access to regular priced tickets. Patrons twenty-five years of age and younger may purchase our $25 and Under tickets through the Online Box Office.

To obtain $25 and Under Tickets, add regular-priced general admission tickets to your basket, then apply the promo code YOUTH on the checkout page by clicking "ENTER A PROMO CODE.” Please remember to bring a photo ID with you to the theatre when you come to claim your tickets.

There is a maximum of four $25 and Under tickets available per performance. If the ticketing system does not accept the promo code, it means there are insufficient $25 Under 25 tickets left for the performance that has been selected.

RETURNING COAL MINE PATRONS

If you are a returning Coal Mine patron from previous seasons, you most likely already have a customer account with us. If you are having difficulty access your account, simply RESET YOUR PASSWORD and then LOGIN to your account to begin purchasing your Season Passes and/or Tickets.

If, for some reason, your active email address is not connected to a pre-existing account, simply CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT.

FIRST TIME COAL MINE PATRONS

If it’s your first time with the Coal Mine, you will need to CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT before you can start purchasing Season Passes and/or Tickets.

Please note, as an independent theatre, The Coal Mine has a limited, part-time administrative team. Because of this, we are unable to offer dedicated box office hours, or to provide a box office phone number. The Patron Services email is monitored twice daily, and we always try to respond to customer queries within 24 hours, but please note we cannot guarantee fast turn around on time-sensitive queries.
